"Largest Twenty20 Tournament in the history of Australian Cricket, with over 80 teams and Total Prize Money of $20,000". Registrations Close on the 15th of Oct'2008 and the Tournament commences on the 26th of Oct'2008.


JATA Charitable trust is proud to announce its first major cricket event held in Australia. Basically, the plan was to organize a small cricket tournament in order to raise some funds for JATA Charitable Trust which donates funds to build laboratories and libraries in underdeveloped schools of India. As the first ad was published in an Indian newspaper, the response from the cricket fanatics was overwhelming, recent developments in India (IPL) could be the reason. Organisers at JATA withdrew all the ads supposed to be published and is hiring one of the largest event managers in Australia to organize the tournament in order to meet the expectations of the cricket clubs.

'JATA Rolling Shield' will be starting on the 18th of Oct'08. The registration of the teams closes on 15th of October. There will be a captains meeting held, where the draws and fixtures will be disclosed. Captains meeting will be followed by our Opening Ceremony.

The purpose of the tournament is to make two teams of top performers of the tournament, which will be sponsored by JATA Consultants. These teams will be participating in various tournaments around the world.
